Okotie-Eboh Grammar School Alumni, Sapele Branch, Unveils New Vision for Members, Alma Mater.

The Okotie-Eboh Grammar School Old Boys Association (OGSOBA), Sapele branch, held its meeting on Sunday, July 28th, 2024, at Richard Continental Hotel with over 50 members in attendance, with its focus on improving welfare for members and executing more projects for their alma mater.

In his opening remarks, Sapele Branch President and National Vice President, Chief Richard Okotie, emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among members. He highlighted the association's achievements in the past year, including the donation of educational materials to the school.

"Our focus will continue to be on our alma mater and the welfare of our members," Chief Okotie said. "That is the primary reason for associating, and that is why we are all gathered here. We will continue to work together as an association to achieve this goal. Okotie-Eboh is a unique school, and this association has been revitalized with a renewed agenda, which we will move forward with."
Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, Prof. Johnbull Tonukari, Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta State, said, "This meeting is a gathering of my schoolmates, and we regularly discuss programs and projects to execute for our alma mater and the welfare of our members."

Mr. Jeff Olomo, Sports Director of the National Body of OGSOBA, added, "We are here to restrategize on the way forward for our alma mater. Many resolutions were made, and we are taking Okotie-Eboh Grammar School to the next level. We are creating a website to keep everyone informed about school activities, and we have established a national football team. We are taking Okotie-Eboh Grammar School to new heights."

In his closing remarks, Chief Okotie thanked members for their active participation and encouraged them to continue working together for the advancement of their alma mater. He announced the date for the next meeting and invited members to attend.

The OGSOBA Sapele branch has been a steadfast supporter of their alma mater since its inception. With the plans outlined in this meeting, members are poised to make even greater contributions to the school's development.
