The people of Sapele Local Government Area in Delta State recently gathered to celebrate a remarkable individual, CSP Harrison Nwabuisi, also known as the "Super Cop," after 35 years of dedicated service in the Nigeria Police Force.
This milestone event drew dignitaries from all walks of life who came to honour Delta State's best police officer in history.
CSP Nwabuisi's exceptional leadership and commitment to peace have earned him numerous accolades, including an international award for his bravery in confronting criminal gangs and kidnappers .
His achievements extend beyond law enforcement, as he has also earned a Master's Degree in Geography and Regional Planning from Delta State University, Abraka.
Honorable Bright Abeke, Chairman of Sapele Local Government Council, praised CSP Harrison Nwabuisi for his unwavering dedication to protecting Sapele's residents. Abeke acknowledged CSP Nwabuisi's exceptional leadership and tireless efforts in maintaining law and order, emphasizing that his contributions will be deeply missed, particularly at a time when his leadership is needed to continue the outstanding work he has initiated.
ACP Innocent Umerie of the Sapele Area Command described CSP Nwabuisi as an exceptional police officer who is rare to find. "He is a complete gentleman, always leading by example," Umerie said.
Chief Paulinus Akpeki, another dignitary at the event, praised CSP Nwabuisi as a "Pillar of Peace." Akpeki noted that CSP Nwabuisi prioritizes peace above all else, making him not just a police officer but a true "Super Cop."
Retired Colonel Babuba Abeke of the Nigeria Army congratulated CSP Nwabuisi on his retirement, saying, "After service is retirement, and CSP Harrison Nwabuisi will be a fulfilled man, because he came, he saw, and conquered."
The celebrant, CSP Harrison Nwabuisi, visibly delighted and grateful, attributed his success to Almighty God. He thanked everyone who supported him throughout his tenure, expressing his feelings as "overwhelmed by the number of persons that graced the occasion."
CSP Nwabuisi's dedication to serving the people of Delta State has been recognized through various awards, including the Officer of the Year Award.
His remarkable attributes, ideas, and behavioral patterns have earned him widespread admiration, and many believe that his approach to policing should be taught as a course at the Nigeria Police Academy.
