Akpanoko, who was addressing pressmen said that the emergence of Chief Ighoyota Amori and Hon Erhiatake Ibori Suenu respectively was a sound testament to the confidence the people of Delta State have on Chief James Onanefe Ibori.
He said; “I want to congratulate Chief Ighoyota Amori, and Hon Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu on their victory in the Delta Central Senatorial seat and the Ethiope Federal House of Rep. Your emergence as federal lawmakers is a validation of peoples’ confidence in our dear party, the PDP and our National leader Chief James Onanefe Ibori.
“The victory of the two candidates of our party in the by-elections clearly showed that PDP remains a party to beat in Delta State based on her achievements in the state.
“The successive administrations in Delta have put the people at the centre of their action, resulting in several people-oriented programmes. This has continued to manifest in the voting patterns in the state.”
