PDP Primaries: Oborevwori's Emergence, Beginning of a New Dawn For Okpe Nation - Edward Ederaine

President of Okpes in North America, Mr Edward Ederaine has congratulated the incumbent speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori after he clinched the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial ticket to emerge as the party's flag bearer for 2023.
Ederaine while Speaking via a telephone conversation to Sapele Mirror Journalist said that he was indeed very elated to see that the efforts of the Okpes to produce the next governor of Delta has yielded a positive result to a great extent.

This is just the primaries, we still have the general election to prepare for, but this is a stepping stone and I am optimistic that we will pull through in the general election he said.
He continued by saying that the Okpes were long over due to rule and that Sheriff's emergence was just the beginning of a new dawn for the Okpe people.
I believe that Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will make Deltans proud, especially the Okpe people, we have been agitating to be governor and we have been presented with the opportunity by Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.

I thank His Excellency Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for supporting the Okpes and giving us the opportunity to serve.
I urge all sons and daughters of Okpe ethnic nationality to rally round and support him as I also call on all PDP party faithfuls from the three different Senatorial district to support him as he goes for the general election, he said.
