Residents, Motorists, Business Owners Urge Contractor To Speedily Complete Ogorode Road Project In Sapele

Residents of Ogorode in Amukpe Community, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State are appealing to the contractor handling the road project to speed up before the rainy season intensified.  

The residents noted that the road was currently under construction, but the work rate was at a very slow pace and that they were appealing to the contractor to add more speed to it before the rainy season got more serious. 

Residents and business owners in the area are asking the contractor to put together an aggressive work plan that will lead to the completion of the road within the shortest possible time before the rainy season starts. 

A motorists in the area who gave his name as Aghogho Princewill commended the Delta State Government for approving the Ogorode Road project, and its conscious efforts in providing a good and quality road network all over the state.  

“We will appreciate the speedy completion of this project, to ease vehicular movement” he said.  

Another resident, Mrs Janet Nikoro lamented the slow pace of work, saying: "I pray the road contractor meets the mandate and directive before the rainy season."
