SAPELE DPO CALLS FOR SYNERGY WITH RESIDENTS, ASSURE OF SAFETY, SAY NO MORE HIDEOUTS FOR CRIMINALS

The Divisional Police Officer In Charge Of Sapele division CSP Harrison Nwabuisi has assured residents of Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State of adequate security before, during, after the yuletide celebration, and criminals will have no place to hide. 

The assurance was given on Thursday 30th November, 2023 at his office in Sapele during an interactive session with newsmen when they paid him a courtesy visit.  

CSP Nwabuisi said the raids on criminal hideouts were enhanced due to intelligence by police personnel and information volunteered by members of the public. 

“No more hideouts; we have raided hideouts and shanties at the different localities, and dislodged criminals in Sapele,” he said. 

“The safety of Sapele and the people of Sapele is paramount; we will continue to protect the lives and property of the citizens. 

“Nwabuisi urged the residents of Sapele not to hesitate to provide useful information to the police on suspicious movements and activities. 

“It is important for residents to partner with the police in an effort to get rid of criminal activities in Sapele; all hands must be on deck. 

“With better interaction between the police and the residents, crime-fighting efforts will yield better results.

Nwabuisi said the Division is partnering with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to tackle drug abuse in Sapele as well.
